Canvas

Canvases are hand stretched over a wooden frame allowing for the work to be hung on it’s own or framed to further dress it up. A printed canvas is coated with a protective finish. The finish protects the inks from damages from touch and moisture. Unlike stretched canvas paintings, high end photographic canvases often have an acid free backing material directly behind the canvas to prevent sag as well as protection from minor impacts. Canvases are a great choice for medium and larger images because they don’t require glass which can make very large pieces heavy, and add glare.
